7-Segment Display
7-segment display, is an electronic component used to visually display numbers, letters, and other characters. It consists of seven or eight individual segments arranged in a specific pattern, representing the digits from 0 to 9 and sometimes additional symbols. Each segment can be individually controlled to illuminate or turn off, allowing the display of various combinations to form different characters. Digital tubes are commonly used in electronic devices such as calculators, digital clocks, electronic meters, and appliances with numerical readouts. They provide a simple and effective means of conveying numeric information in a clear and easily readable format. Modern digital tubes often come in compact and energy-efficient forms, including light-emitting diode (LED) and liquid crystal display (LCD) variants.
